Hi, and welcome to the Official (well, as official as can be) Alt.Games.Starcraft Website.

If you didn't know, alt.games.starcraft happens to be a newsgroup. Don't know what a newsgroup is? Try looking at Dejanews or Remarq. At these archives, you can find out all about the vibe of this group, past and present regulars, the trials and tribulations that this group has had to endure, and of course, you can find out all about the Blizzard RTS (real time strategy), Starcraft.

From it's humble beginnings, two years ago, alt.games.starcraft (or AGSC) was entirely on topic, and this is what new people (newbies) still expect to find on this newsgroup. The truth of the matter is, Starcraft is now over two years old, and there is only a certain amount of Starcraft-related topics which you can talk about. That's why, over the last few months (and probably long before I arrived here), AGSC has become less, and less on topic (though the quality of the on topic posts are as high as ever), and more and more off topic, which should have the letters OT in the subject of the post, though this is becoming more and more disused.

I can't really say everything that this group has to offer, but follow your heart, and you won't have to put up with this kind of bullshijt.

Regards,

Outsider (one of the most prolific OT posters ever to be seen by AGSC).
